Bellevue College is the only institute of higher learning in the nation that offers a four-year associate degree in Occupational and Life Skills (OLS) for adults with cognitive disabilities. The four-year program has a specialized curriculum focused on critical thinking, social skills and self-determination. Students also explore career pathways, with the expectation that they will enter the competitive workplace upon graduation.
Exceptional: the Bellevue College Magazine recently highlighted the OLS degree in their Spring 2014 publication. Michael Hatt, an OLS graduate and valued Skills Inc. employee, was also featured. Please read the articles on pages 15-17, here.
