Programs
As an employer and community rehabilitation program, Skills Inc. is in a unique position to provide various pathways for employment and growth. Our four programs are designed to assist individuals with disabilities that, for a variety of reasons, require a more hands-on, personalized approach to developing their abilities and gaining marketable skills. Program participants are integrated throughout the organization, across multiple locations and departments.
vocational programs
Aerospace Internship Program
For high school students who learn valuable skills while earning credit toward graduation.
Customized Employment Program
Matches the skills of part-time employees with specific business needs.
Group Pre-Employment Transition Services
Workplace readiness training for young adults with disabilities.
Vocational Services Program
Offers work-readiness assessments, mentoring, job development, community job placement and other services.
RSAS Accreditation
Skills Inc. is accredited by the Rehabilitation Services Accreditation Systems (RSAS) for Vocational Services in Washington Department of Social and Health Services Region 2. The accreditation is based upon the results of a thorough review of organizational documents, an on-site survey and interviews with relevant partners.
