Titanium Hot Forming
Hot forming titanium is a process in which a titanium sheet is heated in a high temperature oven to the time and temperature limits established by engineering specifications. The titanium blank is either placed in a press brake to create straight bends or placed in a heated male/female die set to create complex shapes.
Titanium CAPABILITIES
- Increases the formability
- Decreases spring back
- Resistance to cracking
- Consistent thickness
- Accurate forming
